"Ilea" is a family business that produces organic and extra virgin olive oil, collecting the fruit of the olive from the family estates. Our name comes from ancient Greece, and is an anagram of the word ” Olive ” , a blessed tree that has been associated with the history and culture of Greece since antiquity.
Our involvement with olive cultivation began in 1958, when our grandfather, Verras Apostolos, planted our first olive trees. Its primary purpose was to meet the family's annual need for olive oil.
Over time, each of the younger generations continued the cultivation and production, the olive groves expanded, until in 2022, the third generation decided to move on to the next stage of the production process, the processing and the creation of a final product.
The cultivation is done following modern codes of good agricultural practice, thus ensuring the high quality of the olive oil and at the same time the protection of the environment.
The experience of three generations, combined with the dedication and love for tradition, leads us with passion and dedication in the effort to provide every day at the consumer's table the most authentic, with respect to tradition and his needs.
We believe in a future based on our past with passion and love for this precious ancient commodity, olive oil. Our family always works with the goal of achieving the perfection of the final product. Our philosophy is to highlight every year the special flavors, quality characteristics and unique aromas of our region. That is why we ourselves collect the fruit from the mountainous olive groves of our estate in Farrai Achaia, distinguishing the healthiest, offering an extra organic virgin olive oil.

The seat of our family business is a small traditional village on the outskirts of Erymanthos, Farrai Achaia. Farrai is a village rich in vegetation and at an ideal altitude where many crops thrive.
The erymanthos Massif is the natural mountainous border of the prefectures of Achaia and Ilia. Erymanthos is distinguished for its wild natural environment, coniferous forests, mainly dense vegetation, rare and wild plant species, excellent views and impressive scenery, scattered springs, streams, beautiful rivers that often form valleys and steep ravines, imposing rocks and caves, numerous saris that have the peculiarity to make their appearance from lower altitudes, impressive red and green shales, as well as picturesque and beautiful villages located in its area. It is also interwoven with important historical events, with folk traditions and with ancient mythology, while there are many natural and man-made monuments.
